Rules and remedies for fraud, abuse, payment manipulation, referral abuse, and safety deception.
Fraud Is Prohibited
Fraud, deception, abuse, manipulation, and bad-faith use of the Platform are prohibited. The Delivery Truck, Inc. may use automated and manual tools to identify risk.
Examples of Fraud or Abuse
- False identity, fake accounts, duplicate accounts, account sharing, or evasion of suspension.
- False Driver documents, fake insurance, fake licenses, misleading vehicle information, or misrepresented qualifications.
- False Customer claims, fake damage reports, staged disputes, chargeback abuse, refund abuse, or payment reversals without good-faith basis.
- Referral self-dealing, fake signups, promo stacking, artificial PRO referrals, incentive manipulation, or review manipulation.
- Bypassing Platform payment after using Platform matching, messaging, or job tools.
- Using stolen cards, unauthorized payment methods, stolen property, or fake pickup/drop-off information.
Investigation Tools
We may review job data, messages, photos, metadata, device data, payment signals, GPS/location events, account history, referral history, support tickets, document uploads, and third-party vendor signals to evaluate fraud or abuse.
Remedies
If fraud or abuse is suspected, we may suspend accounts, cancel jobs, withhold payouts, reverse credits, remove reviews, deny refunds, block promotions, require re-verification, preserve evidence, report to payment processors, report to law enforcement, or pursue civil recovery.
No Guarantee
Fraud prevention tools reduce risk but do not eliminate it. Customers must verify Drivers and Drivers must verify job legitimacy before proceeding.
