Route, Tracking, and Location Policy
How route information, GPS, location sharing, and route concerns are handled.
Location Tools Are Informational
The Platform may provide GPS, map, route, ETA, or status tools. These tools are informational and may be inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or affected by device, carrier, GPS, internet, mapping, or third-party issues.
Driver Route Control
Drivers are independent and generally decide routes and methods. However, Drivers must comply with law, Customer instructions, safety requirements, prohibited area restrictions, and marketplace rules. A route that appears longer or different is not automatically a violation.
When Route Concerns May Be Reviewed
- Unexplained major deviation after pickup.
- Delay inconsistent with traffic, weather, or access conditions.
- Location sharing disabled during an active job without explanation.
- Customer report of item security, theft concern, unsafe conduct, or unauthorized stops.
- Driver report of Customer-provided incorrect address, unsafe premises, or changed scope.
Data Preservation
Route-related messages, timestamps, photos, GPS events, map events, status changes, and support notes may be preserved with the job record for safety, quality, dispute, fraud, insurance, and legal purposes.
No Guarantee of ETA or Route
The Delivery Truck, Inc. does not guarantee arrival time, route accuracy, traffic conditions, driver location, or job completion. Route and tracking tools do not create a carrier, dispatcher, employer, or supervision relationship.
